Working With Dan

Dan is a guitarist with over 36 years of experience playing live and recording music, available through iTunes and retail outlets. For the past 4 years he's toured internationally as guitarist for a Luke Combs UK tribute act, playing shows across the entire UK and Ireland as well as Canada, Europe and America. He's played and taught professionally for most of his career, recording and producing with his own bands The Dreaming Tree and Animate The Monster, and the function band The Indigo Machine.
He's been teaching for 21 years, both privately and for the local authority music service, with a 100% pass rate in exams. Whatever your age or ability, one-to-one or in a small group, Dan adjusts his teaching to how you learn, covering Rock, Blues, Metal, Jazz and Folk, combined with the Rockschool Grade system.
His style has drawn comparisons to Dave Gilmour, Jimmy Page and Steve Hackett, and he's been featured in the national music press, from Classic Rock to Powerplay. The Dreaming Tree's album Progress Has No Patience was voted a top-20 album of 2010 by Classic Rock Presents Prog.
